Omnixol CX80 Concentrate is a powerful cleaning concentrate for treating textiles, upholstery and suitable surfaces contaminated with oil, diesel and grease.

A particularly important application is the intensive cleaning of vehicle upholstery, carpets, trunk linings, upholstered furniture and other suitable textile materials.

CX80 helps loosen oil, diesel and grease residues from contaminated materials and remove them from the material together with the cleaning solution.

Typical Applications

Omnixol CX80 is particularly suitable for:

  • vehicle upholstery and car seats
  • carpets and textile floor coverings
  • upholstered furniture
  • trunk linings and vehicle interior trim
  • textile floor mats
  • textiles contaminated with oil, diesel or grease
  • suitable plastic and smooth surfaces
  • suitable areas in vehicles and workshops

Particularly after diesel or oil has been spilled, it is important not to treat only the visible surface. The cleaning solution must reach the areas of the material that are actually contaminated.

Mixing Ratio

For intensive cleaning of upholstery, carpets and textile surfaces, CX80 is mixed with water at a ratio of 1 : 10.

Warm water is recommended where possible.

Cleaning Upholstery and Textiles

Apply the CX80 working solution evenly to the contaminated material and work it thoroughly into the fibers or fabric.

The material should be sufficiently wetted so that the cleaning solution can also reach deeper oil or diesel residues.

Lightly wetting only the surface is often not sufficient for contamination that has penetrated deeper into the material.

Contact Time

After working the solution into the material, allow CX80 to act for approximately 4 to 5 hours.

During this time, the cleaning solution can act on the oil, diesel and grease residues present within the material.

Remove the Cleaning Solution with a Wet or Extraction Vacuum

After the contact time, thoroughly remove the loosened contamination and excess cleaning solution from the material.

We recommend using a wet vacuum or extraction cleaner.

If necessary, the treated material can then be rinsed with clean water and the liquid extracted again using a wet vacuum or extraction cleaner.

The aim is to remove the mobilized contamination and any remaining cleaning solution from the material as completely as possible.

Heavy or Deep-Seated Contamination

Older oil or diesel contamination that has penetrated deeply into upholstery or carpets may require a second treatment.

Before repeating the treatment, allow the material to dry completely and assess the cleaning result.

In vehicles in particular, it should also be checked whether diesel or oil may have reached areas beneath carpets, insulation materials, upholstery cores or behind interior trim.

As long as untreated contamination remains in these areas, the odor may return to the vehicle interior.

Material Compatibility

Before large-area application, especially on textiles, upholstery, painted surfaces, plastics and sensitive surfaces, CX80 should first be tested in an inconspicuous area for material compatibility and colorfastness.

Always observe the manufacturer's care and cleaning instructions for the respective material.

Allow to Dry Completely After Cleaning

After extraction, the cleaned material must be allowed to dry completely. Ensure adequate ventilation and good air circulation.

Particularly with upholstery and vehicle interiors, the treated areas should not be used again until they are completely dry.

The cleaning result and any remaining odor contamination should also only be assessed after complete drying.

What to Do if Odor Remains

Once the actual oil or diesel contamination has been cleaned with CX80 and the treated material has completely dried, Omnixol BX Odor Neutralizer can be used for subsequent odor neutralization if residual odors remain.

If a noticeable odor remains, particularly after a diesel spill, first check whether fuel is still present in deeper upholstery layers, insulation materials or concealed areas.

Safety Information

Before use, please observe the information provided in the product information sheet and the current safety data sheet.

Ensure adequate ventilation during application and use suitable personal protective equipment according to the specific working conditions.

When treating diesel or oil contamination, the necessary protective measures relating to the original contamination must also be observed.
